Community Activities

The Community Activities widget lists the activities being conducted in the community by the community members. The most recent activity is listed first. Activities listed include information such as who uploaded files. This widget works similar to a wall where community members can see what is happening within the community. They can also share thoughts with other members by writing a post.

Notes about this widget:

  • This widget is limited to a community page.
  • To change the way content is displayed in this widget, click Edit and change the settings:
    • By default, the five most recent activities are listed.
    • You can change the title “Community Activities.” For example, you might change it to “What’s happening in our community.”
    • You can control who can see this widget.
  • Community members can add a comment in the What’s on your mind field and share their thoughts with all community members. They can also comment on all content that appears in the Community Activities widget. If the privacy for this widget is network members, all network members can see and add comments about the community activities. If the privacy for this widget is General Public, non-logged-in users can see the community activity, but cannot comment on it. (General Public is only available with Clearvale Enterprise.)
