Using External Widgets
This feature is specific to Clearvale Enterprise.
An external widget is a small web application that is installed as a widget within a network and offers dynamic content from an external application.
If external widgets are enabled for your network, as a network administrator or owner, you will see the Admin>External Widgets tab. Use this tab to:
- Install an external widget from the global library or account library into your network. When you install an external widget, it appears in the Widget Gallery when you click Edit Layout for a page. You can then drag the widget onto a page in your network for use.
- Create your own external widget and share it with your network, your account library, or the global library. Creating an external widget is a multi-step process and requires that you have a developer who can create the web application for the external widget.
For complete information on creating, installing, and sharing external widgets, see the Clearvale Developer Guide.
