You can treat it as a sandbox to help you get familiar with the tools and rules of Clearvale before you build your own, or you can take advantage of the ready-to-use network to conduct real collaboration with colleagues and start improving communication and productivity today. #1. Get a head start on transforming your team or organization to Enterprise 2.0

This ready-to-use “Join” Network has been set up to give you a better idea on how to use Clearvale to collaborate and communicate effectively with your colleagues. It aims to provide you with a strong head start on transforming your organization to be Enterprise 2.0 equipped in a very short time, with very little IT support or help.

#2. It’s Simple and fast -- just enter a business email.

To get started, all you need to do is enter a business email address. After doing so, you’ll receive an email confirmation containing a link to verify your account and initiate the Join Wizard, where you can fill out your profile, join existing communities, and invite colleagues (who have the same email domain) to join your network.

#3. Start working right away.
Upon completing the Wizard, you’ll be dropped into a templated network set up by the Clearvale Admin. This network is a pre-built environment that aims to give you feel for Clearvale – a network’s look and feel, uses, best practices, and more. You will be able to set up your profile, publish blogs, upload videos, create wiki pages and share documents in no time.

You’ll also be able to set up communities for different purposes, and invite your colleagues to the network to form everything from project teams to softball leagues. Share information, ideas and documents of various types with whomever you choose. You can monitor all these activities through the “Activity Stream” shown on the homepage -- so you won’t miss anything.

“How to” block
On the homepage for the “Join” Network there is a “How to” block that provides you with tips and guidance to get started using Clearvale.

“Activity Stream”
In the center of the homepage you’ll find the network’s Activity Stream. It allows you to capture and monitor all the activity going on in your network. When you first join, you’ll be greeted by some updates from the Clearvale Admin, so be sure to check those out.

“Directory”
The different icons represent a variety of customizable widgets. Whether you want to write a blog, create a discussion forum, upload a video, or just send someone a message, it’s all just one click away.

#5. Enjoy it now, claim it later.
Sign Up when you’re ready to get full control over your network
Clicking the “Sign Up Now” button located at the top right corner of the homepage will allow you to become a network admin; you’ll have full control over your network and be able to customize at all levels – whether it be the homepage layout, network design, URL, or anything else you’d like to do to better enhance your corporate identity,. You can also clone your network for different audiences to jumpstart programs -- all the members, data, and content will remain as-is. You don’t have to worry about losing anything, because we’ll migrate it all for you.

Creating your own network
And remember, you can create your own networks anytime you want by going to www.clearvale.com. When you sign in from Clearvale.com, you’ll see a list of networks that you belong to and also be able to search for other networks that you may be interested in becoming a member of.
